The Copley Group, a diversified Boston based real estate company, is looking for a full time Maintenance Technician to join its staff and assist in the management and hands on maintenance of its facilities in the Greater Boston area.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

The successful candidate will be highly motivated and an organized team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills. The position requires basic carpentry, plumbing, painting, drywall and appliance repair skills. Snow shoveling may be required in the winter.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must possess a valid MA driver’s license and have reliable transportation
  • Must own a full set of tools
  • Oil Burner, Gas Fitter, and HVAC knowledge/ experience is a plus
  • Will need to maintain a positive attitude and exhibit superior customer service skills
  • Experience with a real estate property management company or hospitality management company is preferable.

POSITION SPECIFICS:

This is primarily a 40 hour a week position, Monday- Friday. Occasional weekends and evenings may be required during heavy work periods along with the opportunity for overtime pay.

The Copley Group, a fast paced, Boston-based property management company, is seeking a Resident Services & Leasing Coordinator to join its property management team and contribute to its customer-centric approach.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a strong administrative background, the ability to multi-task, and the ability to work on a team and think critically and collaboratively.

The Resident Services & Leasing Coordinator is the primary point of contact for all leasing inquiries and works with residents, the property management team, and brokerage companies on a daily basis. This role is responsible for communicating all maintenance related work and partnering with the service team to ensure resident satisfaction is exceeding expectations. The Coordinator reports to the Property Manager. This is a Monday- Friday 8:30 am- 5:00 pm position. Full benefits plus 401k plan are available.

Position details include but are not limited to:

  • Answer phones, greet people, field resident relation matters and escalate them accordingly
  • Create work orders for maintenance- work orders come in through calls, e-mails, renewal requests, annual survey, and property managers
  • Schedule work with residents via email and phone
  • Assist with move-in/ move-out process including:
    • Attach Inspection Reports to Yardi resident records
    • Coordinate and assist Property Manager, Service Manager and maintenance staff on 1st of the month
    • Gift-bag assembly
    • Update resident directories/ DoorKing systems
    • Manage key distribution to new move-ins
  • Resident relations
    • Draft notices/letters/memo to residents regarding delinquent accounts, noise complaints, building repairs, etc.
    • Assist Property Manager with conflict/resolution matters
  • Leasing administration
    • Compile apartment applications by working with brokers and the property management team
    • Process approved applications into system database
    • Coordinate lease dates, move-in dates, and lease signings
    • Generate and execute leases and other addenda using Yardi
    • Manage and track lease renewals, lease breaks, and parking space rentals
    • Meet routinely with the property management team to analyze the real estate market and determine apartment rent prices

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in real estate and/or customer service
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office software is required
  • Experience with Yardi software is a plus
  • Above all else, the successful candidate should be a friendly “people person” with the ability to work as part of a team.
