Norman A. Levenson
Founder and President of The Copley Group, he has been active in the real estate industry since 1965. Norman's start as an assistant property manager has served as a cornerstone to a career noteworthy for its depth and diversity. Four decades of experience in property management, real estate development, and ownership of multi-family properties, has honed Norman's expertise in the areas of acquisitions, development, financing, and operation of multi-unit residential and commercial real estate.
Michael R. Phillips, CPA — Chief Operating Officer
Michael has been involved with residential, commercial and retail real estate since 1986 and has been President, CFO, and COO of other companies. His experience includes extensive involvement in the management, development, acquisition and financial area of entrepreneurial real estate companies. Michael's specialties include structuring transactions, creating organizational efficiencies, and functioning as a fiduciary for institutional investors and other owners of real estate. Prior to his involvement in real estate, Michael worked for an international accounting firm for 7 years and is a Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts. Michael graduated summa cum laude from Boston College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
David Pirog — Director of Property Management
David has experience managing residential and commercial property since 1985. His accomplishments include bidding and overseeing tenant improvements for 900,000 square feet at a cost of $8,500,000, negotiating lease renewals of approximately 800,000 square feet with annual income of $7,500,000, and the oversight of a $15,000,000 property rehabilitation and new construction in various locations. David earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Central Connecticut State College, and a Masters Degree from Northeastern University.
Loretta Byrnes — Controller
Loretta received her B.S. in Accounting from Northeastern University and her MBA from Suffolk University. Loretta has over 20 years of accounting experience within the residential, retail and commercial real estate industry. Her experience entails oversight of the day to day accounting functions, the implementation of financial controls, and system upgrades.
Kevin Ramsey — Director of Maintenance Operations
Kevin has more than 15 years of experience in property maintenance. Kevin currently directs the maintenance for 750 residential apartments in 35 locations for The Copley Group, and provides technical support to the condominium management staff.
Josh Drawas — Regional Property Manager
Josh received his B.A. in Economics in 1997 from Colorado College, and is currently attending Bentley College in pursuit of a joint MBA and masters in science for Real Estate Management. Josh has more than seven years of professional real estate experience, more than four of which has been as a managing agent with The Copley Group.
Nora Pepper — Regional Property Manager
Nora has over 28 years of experience in real estate property management, sales and asset management. Nora recently completed six years as a Senior Property Manager for high-end condominiums and worked for 10 years as an Asset Manager for the FDIC.
Valerie McGrath – Regional Property Manager
Valerie has 18 years of diverse experience in the real estate field. She has managed condominium associations, apartments, office and industrial properties and has significant experience in the sales and marketing areas. Valerie is a licensed real estate broker and a member of the National Association of Realtors.
Janice Kopelowitz and Diane Quinlan — Property Administrators
Janice and Diane are responsible for all of the administration in the condominium management group, including unit owner inquiries and account management. Both have significant hands-on experience with Condominium Associations prior to joining The Copley Group. Janice is a licensed Community Association Manager.
